Charming rock
garden plants, Lewisias are our very own natives—all 20 species are
found in the western US. They come in a range of colors & bloom over
a long period of time in late spring & summer. They are all perfectly
cold hardy, but require full sun, sharply draining soil and dislike
winter wet. They would do well in rock gardens, troughs, or
containers. |
